Once a student application is processed, the student received a letter or email verifying their acceptance and their admit status. A student will either be conditionally admitted or fully admitted. A conditionally admitted student is one in which the admission file is incomplete or lacking required documents to complete the file. A fully admitted student is one in which the admission file is complete and all required documents have been satisfied.
If a student remains conditionally admitted, their account will be placed on an admission hold (AH) during the first semester to prevent future registration. A conditionally admitted student will have the semester in which they are enrolled to complete their Admission file and provide the requested documentation. The Admission hold will be placed on their account to prevent future registration for the following semester prior to the current student registration period. To remove the Admission hold, the student will need to complete their Admission file. Other hold types exist for various departments and students should contact the department in which the hold was placed.
If we receive returned mail, an admission hold is placed as well until we receive an up to date mailing address.
