Machining Fabricator CAS

The Machining Fabricator Certificate program is offered on the Greenbrier Valley Campus of New River Community and Technical College in partnership with area industries that employ machinists in the manufacture or assembly of their products. The program includes classroom work in general education, support skills and technical courses, as well as hands-on instruction and practice on basic machine tools in the College’s shops and laboratories. Students also will intern in a working shop under direction of the College’s instructor and supervision of a working machinist. Rely on multiple methods of communication regarding Inclement Weather decisions. The Alert Messaging System is one method (New River CTC’s portal, email & text messaging). Other methods include posting here, on official College social media channels (Facebook and Twitter), campus weather lines & messages sent to local television and radio stations.
