The Receptionist certificate program is designed to give students a basic understanding of business practices and improve business communication skills. Successful students will be prepared for office receptionist positions. State and federal financial aid are not available for advanced skill set certificates. Rely on multiple methods of communication regarding Inclement Weather decisions. The Alert Messaging System is one method (New River CTC’s portal, email & text messaging). Other methods include posting here, on official College social media channels (Facebook and Twitter), campus weather lines & messages sent to local television and radio stations.
