To fully understand the data provided here, one should know their limitations. The cohort group can be quite small compared to the entire community college population, and is therefore not fully representative of all students. For example, the report does not include part-time students. Approximately 35% of students at New River in the 2013-14 academic year were enrolled part-time.
TRANSFERS AFTER GRADUATION
21% of the students who graduated from New River Community and Technical College during the 2016 -2017 academic year transferred on to another college to continue their education. This rate was provided by the National Student Clearinghouse.
GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT
Information regarding the employability of students in select programs is available through New River Community and Technical College’s Gainful Employment page.
Additional data can be found at the National Center for Education Statistics.
