Services for Students with Disabilities (ADA)

New River Community and Technical College offers various accommodations and services for students with disabilities. Students must self-identify, by completing an application for accommodation(s). The provision of accommodations will be contingent upon appropriate documentation of a disability. In addition, services will be contingent upon availability of resources associated with said service.

In order to receive accommodations each semester, students should contact the Educational Counselor on their campus regarding the documentation needed for consideration.  Students must meet with the ADA Coordinator and Educational Counselor as part of the process.

For more information, please contact the ADA Coordinator, Peggy Epling, at 304-929-5027 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Rely on multiple methods of communication regarding the College’s Inclement Weather decisions. The Alert Messaging System is one method of sharing information (New River CTC’s portal, email and text messaging). Other methods include posting here, on official College social media channels (Facebook and Twitter), campus weather lines and messages sent to local television and radio stations.
